Flipping the Script Panel

In our Flipping the Script panel, we will explore making scripted projects for Radio, TV, Film and online.

We will explore what makes an idea worth developing, what makes a script worth commissioning, and discuss the current TV, Film and Radio landscapes before opening the floor up to your questions.

This panel will be hosted by Kemah Bob and feature Head of Scripted Comedy at iTV Nana Hughes, Commissioning Editor for Comedy and Entertainment at Radio 4 Julia McKenzie and development producer Janet Awe.

We will ask the panel about the ins and outs of making it as a comedian, how to book gigs, when and how to write a show and how to decide if comedy festivals, fringes and tours are right for you.

Hosted by comedian Aisha Amanduri featuring Naomi Parnell the Head of Producing at Plosive, director and Comedy Programmer for Soho Theatre Walthamstow Jet Vevers and Funny Women comedy award winner Kate Cheka.
